Wilma Adkins

Wilma J. Adkins, 74, of Tiffin, passed away at 5:09 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at her residence.
Wilma was born on Aug. 1, 1944, in Tiffin, to the late Thomas and Thelma (Smith) Clark. She married Robert Adkins in Monroe, Mich., on Dec. 15, 1962, and he survives in Tiffin.
Survivors include a son, William (Sheri) Adkins of Carey; a daughter, Tamela (David) Dewald of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Joseph (Alissa) Taylor, Jackie (Duane) Davis and Anna (Keith) Vogel; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Wilma is also survived by a brother, Thomas (Alma) Clark of Upper Sandusky; a sister, Bonnie Sue (Richard) Brooks of Carey; and a brother-in-law, John Fruth of Alvada.
Wilma worked at Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky and also at the Clinton Lake Campground Store. She was a member of the Secret Sisters Club at the campground and also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Wilma was an avid cake baker and decorator.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Clark; and two sisters, Nancy Fruth and Betty Gatchell.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Dec. 3 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Tiffin. Funeral services for Wilma were scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the funeral home with the Rev. Rex King officiating. Burial will follow services on Tuesday at Fairmont cemetery.
