Dawn Layton

Dawn Denise Layton, 48, of Carey, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
Born on March 27, 1971, in Findlay, she is the daughter of Don F. and Barbara A. (Higgins) Funchion of rural Carey.
She married Bryan Layton on Oct. 12, 1996. He survives in Carey.
Also surviving are two children, Kaylen Layton, Carey; and Seth Walton, San Francisco, Calif.; and a brother, Jameson D. Funchion, McComb.
Dawn was a 1989 graduate of Carey High School. She was a homemaker. Dawn was a free spirited, loving wife and mother. She always put others before herself.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, from 2-5 p.m. at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey. There will be no funeral service. Burial will take place at a later date at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
