Dan had a passion for taking old useless things and giving them new life, whether it be a car, truck, furniture or toy. In Dan’s mind, one man’s junk is another’s treasure.
The most important thing in Dan’s life was his family. He especially loved spoiling his grandchildren.
The family will receive family and friends from 2-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at Moreno’s Vault, 119 W. Findlay Street, Carey. A celebration of life will follow at 7:30 p.m., with everyone present given the opportunity to share a memory of Dan and raise a glass to remember his remarkable life.
In Lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made in Dan’s memory to Bridge Home Health and Hospice. If you cannot attend send contributions to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street, Carey, OH 43316.
