Monique Tallon

It comes with a very heavy heart to learn of the passing of our daughter and loved one Monique (Howard) Tallon, 40, Houston, Texas, and formerly of Carey. Monique died on Nov. 13, 2020, at 9:02 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas.
She was born on June 12, 1980, in Toledo. At age nine she was adopted by Brad Howard and Toni (Heck) Johnsick.
Monique married Micheal Tallon, Texas, and later divorced.
Surviving are her parents, Brad Howard of Carey and Toni (Joe) Johnsick of Manchester, N.H. Also surviving are Moniques children, Kala E. White, Norwalk; as well as three adult children.
Siblings surviving include, Chad Howard, Lorraine; Alex Howard, Carey; Kyle Howard, LeHigh Acres, Fla.; Nicole (Eric) Suydam, Bryan; Dean Harkins, Toledo; and Kaylin Austin, California.
Monique was proceeded in death by her birth mother, Dianna Heath; aunt, Shari Gatchell; sister, LaQuinta; brother, Wyatt; grandparents, Frank and Dottie Heck, Bill and Shirley Howard and Weldon and Helen Minner.
Monique has a birth aunt, Barbara Minner, (Benjamin) Reiter, Tarentum, Penn., who never gave up in finding her nieces and nephews. She continued to love them even though they were adopted. When she reconnected with them she was always there to give them much support and love and to give them advice even if they did not listen.
Monique was home-schooled, attended Vanlue elementary school, Findlay High School and later received her GED.
Monique loved her dogs and any animal that came her way. She loved her children very much but her life was just full of struggles and pain. She will be greatly missed and we will always remember her for her wonderful smile and her laugh.
Memorial contributions can be made through the funeral home at Carnesfuneralhome.com, to Dorcas Carey Public Library or Lucas County Children Services/Adoptions.
A gathering of love and remembrance will be held this summer in Ohio. Details will come at that time.
