Thomas Fox

Thomas E. Fox, 56, of Sycamore, died at 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center, Columbus.
He was born on Jan. 27, 1965, in Tiffin, to James A. and Jeanette E. (Theis) Fox. James is deceased and Jeanette survives in Tiffin. He married Lori (Moorhead) Fox on March 22, 1991, and she survives in Sycamore.
Surviving are two sons, Kyle T. Fox, Groveport, and Collin J. Fox and his fiance, Megan Cleveland, Green Springs; plus two brothers, Russell (Beverly) Fox, Tiffin, and Michael Fox, Tiffin; plus one sister, Cheryl (Glenn “Sie”) Chaffee, Sycamore. Tom also has a sister-in-law, Laurie Fox, Oceola. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joel Fox, besides his father.
Tom was a retired lineman for American Electric Power, Tiffin, for 30 years. He also at one time was a farm laborer working for several farmers in the area.
Tom was a 1983 graduate of Mohawk High School, member of the Carey Conservation Club, was a Son of the Sycamore American Legion Post #250, was a member of Tiffin Eagles, Upper Sandusky Amvets Post #777 and was a member of the Nevada Masonic Lodge #343.
For hobbies Tom loved NASCAR, going camping and every year went to the National Tractor Pulls in Bowling Green, but especially enjoyed spending time at his property in the country and being with his boys.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service for Tom will be held on Thursday, July 8, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.
