Ronald Wagner

Ronald E. Wagner, 86, of McCutchenville, died at 7:14 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at home.
He was born in Wyandot County to Ernest and Leefee (Pfeifer) Wagner on Dec. 13, 1934. He first married Barb (Van Horn) Wagner and they later divorced. He then married Janet (Mullholand) Wagner on Nov. 26, 1963, and she died Sept. 28, 2001.
Surviving are the following children: Jody (Rhonda) Wagner, rural McCutchenville; Randy (Jodell) Wagner, rural Tiffin; and Tena (Darrin) Morehart, rural McCutchenville. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; plus one sister, Mary Margraf, Sycamore; and two brothers, Richard (Angela) Wagner, Jacksonville, Fla., and Larry (Sherry) Wagner, Bucyrus.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lu Ann Goist in 2012; granddaughter, Natalie in 2003; and one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Irene Young, Martha Bogart and Sylvia Bell; and three brothers, Harold Wagner, Paul Wagner and Glenn Wagner.
Ronald was a truck driver for RDS Mowery, Tiffin, for many years and also early in life worked for Harley Forth Construction. For hobbies he loved to work on anything that had a motor and also loved to ride his motorcycle and later in life his golf cart.
Funeral services for Ronald will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Elyse Cramer officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. prior to the funeral service. It is recommended you wear a mask when you come for visitation or funeral service.
