Louann was a 1959 graduate of Carey High School. During her time in high school, Louann was a majorette in the Carey High School marching band. Louann worked at the school cafeteria and in the dietary department at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Louann enjoyed meeting up with her group of friends for dinner and a gathering back at one of their homes each month. Louann was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women Group. She and Leo enjoyed spending their winter months in Florida or traveling to Hawaii. Her and Leo were inseparable. When you saw one the other was right there. Louann took pride in her appearance and her immaculate flower garden. She had an eye for decorating and more than anything she loved her family. She always made it a point to be at each one of their events.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, from 4-8 p.m. at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, Carey. Louann’s celebration of life service will be held on Friday, July 19, at 11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, Carey, with the Rev. Loran Miracle and the Rev. Jim Sharrett, officiating.
