Alice Wolf

Alice E. Wolf, 94, of Carey, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at The Willows at Tiffin.
She was born Sept. 30, 1929, in Upper Sandusky, to the late Adam J. and Olivia V. (Culver) Leightey. Alice married Nelson N. Wolf on Oct. 3, 1953, and he passed on Jan. 1, 1991.
Mrs. Wolf is survived by her children, Jim (Tressa) Wolf, Indiana; Jerry (Deb) Wolf, Carey; Jeff (Jackie) Wolf, Carey; and Donna (Mike) Miller, Upper Sandusky; 12 grandchildren, Shera, Kendra, Adam, Jessica, Jeremy, Allison, Julie, Alex, Shay, Ashley, Austin and Kody; 34 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Leightey, Upper Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Christopher Michael Miller; a great-grandchild, Halli Blake Wolf; a brother, David Leightey; a sister, Donna Ramsey; sister-in-law, Elaine Leightey; and brother-in-law, Newt Ramsey.
Alice graduated from Upper Sandusky High School with the class of 1947. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Church. Mrs. Wolf was a homemaker and worked at the former Woody’s Restaurant where she was the dessert specialist. In her early years, before marriage, she worked for the Wyandot County Farm Bureau. She was a 4-H advisor for over 50 years and was an Honorary Ohio State Fair Hall of Fame recipient.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at Trinity Evangelical Church. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Trinity Evangelical Church with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wyandot County 4-H in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home, 226 E. Wyandot Avenue, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
