Betty St. Clair

Betty St. Clair, 75, of Forest, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was born on Jan. 8, 1949, in rural Carey, to the late Allen and Mary (Chapman) Gibson. She married Allen St. Clair on Feb. 14, 1967, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 2012.
Betty is survived by her six children: Sheri A. (Bill Adkins) St. Clair, Carey; Allen J. (Tammy) St. Clair Jr., Nevada; Michael S. (Tracy) St. Clair, Forest; Edward J. (Terri) St. Clair, Bucyrus; Allen D. “Bog” (Crystal) St. Clair, Upper Sandusky; and Jason L. (Abbe) St. Clair, Carey; 11 grandchildren: Anna, Billy, Dusty, Zachary, Bryce, Hailey, Kayla, Kory, Laney, Mylee and Gracyn St. Clair; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings: Bill Gibson, Mary Hall, Patsy Blair and Susie Fisher and a many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan St. Clair and siblings, Kenneth, Ronnie and David Gibson, Jeanette Perkins and Jackie Feasel.
Betty worked at Consolidated Biscuit in McComb retiring in 2012. Betty enjoyed working in her garden, making sure everything looked immaculate. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies. Betty was a very independent woman. She was a caregiver, who enjoyed having her family over. She was a proud mother, grandma and loved having everyone over for the holidays.
Visitation for Betty will be on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 4-7 p.m. at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, Carey. A private graveside service will be held at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin.
