Allison Scott
Allison F. Scott, 66, of Sycamore, died at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Bridge Home Health and Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on July 5, 1958, in Tiffin, Ohio to William “Bill” and Evelyn (Anderer) Scott. She is survived by her companion, Franklin “Bud” Holman, Sycamore, and her children, Rachel Gillig, Sycamore; Marcia Frisch, Upper Sandusky; and Melanie (Joseph) Hannan, Wilmington, Del. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Kya Gillig, Mia Gillig, Peyton Pletcher, Porter Pletcher, Ryleigh Frisch and Kirily Hannan; two brothers, Thomas Scott, rural Green Springs, and Kevin Scott, Tiffin; and one sister, Lorraine Lay, Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Allison had her STNA license, worked 20 years at the former Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky, and also helped take care of many people in the Sycamore area. She was a 1976 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and was a member of the Sycamore American Legion Auxiliary. For hobbies she loved to bake, read, do crossword puzzles, go bowling and especially spending time with family and friends.
A memorial service for Allison will be held Tuesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Matthew Rader officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, from 4-7 p.m. prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
