Dora Feck
Dora M. Feck, 95, of Carey, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
Born in St. Stephen on Dec. 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Roman and Agnes (Dannemiller) Dentinger.
Dora married Norbert J. Feck on Aug. 21, 1948, in St. Stephen Catholic Church by the Rev Monnin. Norbert preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 2010.
She is survived by four children, Art (Leona) Feck, Carey; Joan Feck, Carey; Ruth (Dan) Smith, Upper Sandusky; and Vita (Dave) Hefner, Bluffton; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Fern Dentinger, Bloomville, and Mary Ann Dentinger, Bloomville.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Feck; two brothers, Leonard and Raymond Dentinger; a sister, Esther Allgyre; and her husband, Earl Allgyre.
Dora was a 1942 graduate of Bloomville High School.
She was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the family farm.
She was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, formerly of St. Nicholas, Frenchtown. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society.
Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m.-noon at All Saints Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown. Rosary will be prayed at 11:45 a.m. A mass of Christian burial will be at noon with the Rev. Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery. The family invites everyone to join them for food and fellowship in the lower level of the church following the burial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to masses, All Saints Parish or All Saints Cemetery Fund or donor’s choice and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street, Carey, OH 43316-1169.
