Steve Knowlton

Steve Allen (“Red Dog”) Knowlton, Vanlue, died on Friday, June 19, 2026.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (Buck) Knowlton; sons, Chad Knowlton (Marcy Bayne) and Tyler Knowlton (Kristen Tiell); mother, Betty Knowlton; and siblings, Rex Knowlton (Melinda) and Shelly (Rod) Ohler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, from 9 a.m. until the time of his celebration of life service at 11 a.m. at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, Carey. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
